WELL I'M BACK

I've got a cock made out of platinum!

What are the haps, motherbitches? No, I have not died, school was just more of a pain in the ass for the past couple months than any other semester of my life, but there's plenty of good news that follows.

Had to stay quiet about it until she quit her job (because she was my boss-- scandalous much?), but I managed to luck out and hook up with a lovely, lovely gal. Saccharine things might happen upon this blog, which scares me, but I guess it proves that my cold and shriveled heart does, in fact, exist.

Now, on to the remaining Spring 2011 Expo graphics!

I don't know who the fuck The Strokes are, but I had to draw them.

Graduating graphic.

Something for NASA that never got printed. Holy shit, a gradient! I AM THE PHOTOSHOP WIZARD, APPRECIATE MY FILTHY VOODOO

Sorry if the descriptions are terse, but I drew these a long time ago and the memories are fuzzy. Wish I could blame tequila but it all comes down to good old-fashioned harrowing work and sleep deprivation. Thank God I'm leaving the College of Science.

On to less worky shit!

Nell got a bit of polish recently. She's slowly turning into some sort of stout, snarky, terrifying beefcake. I'm okay with that.

I don't think I ever posted this. A good comrade of mine, Brett, has a spirit animal. And that spirit animal is a whale in a top hat that is on fire.

I also drew my roommate, Dave, riding a sheep. He's currently in China, on missionary business. Godspeed, dammit!

Oh, shitfart, I inked something that I didn't draw for once! I've been shoehorned into the creative process of Olivia and her mysterious tales of werewolves and Jack the Rippers. Plenty of that sort of stuff will show up here in due time, just you wait and see. This guy is Jack, and he likes him some bumwine.

Cory and Jennifer, MLP edition. And no, I don't watch that show like everyone on the internet. Nor do I play Minecraft. Fuck, I feel lonely on here.

Ever since the Megaman Legends 3 blogroll got back on track, I've been piddling about with the first two on the off hours, thanks to the Pandora. Did a really quick sketch of the Bonnes, and it won't be the last.

BISOOOOOOONN!! This was a gift for Chris, of PFGC fame, who just graduated. If you can hear me, Munin, you fuckin' rocked, hope your endeavors outside of academia go well.

That's all I'll throw on here for now, doucheketeers. I'll be back again soon (this time I'm not kidding!), with some more dusty old goodness, werewolf shitfuckery, or maybe even some stuff on a topic I've always chickened out on elaborating on to the public. Time'll tell!

Max out!

OH, I THINK THE KITTEN'S TRYING TO KILL ME...

I'd better kill him first!

Things have been pretty fuckin' busy on the Maximus front. Wonderful, wonderful things have happened since I last logged an entry, and I've been drawing a fair bit, but there's not much I can disclose here... Well, not yet, at least.

By and large, schoolwork's been taking a big ol' dump on my lap this semester, keeping me from being the ruthless sketch monster I used to be, but that all may change, and I'll find time with the new skip in my step. For now, have some of the Expo graphics I've been churning out!

For an article on Admissions creepin' on prospective students' "social media" accounts when considering who to accept. Sweet, sainted mother of Ru Paul, do I abominate that term. Shit!
For an article about kids using their laptops during lectures for pretty much everything BUT taking notes. Yes, it's irresponsible, but I can't judge when I've spent more than a fair share of Psych lectures playing DoDonPachi instead of pecking away at notes about shit I already learned in the high school program.
Lastly, it's the Piano Man, a local entertainer that frequents a place on Chauncey! Apparently he liked what he saw so much that he wants to use this, or another graphic by my pen, for advertising purposes! We'll see how that develops...

Little bit more KOF on the brain. Today, just a couple'a crappy sketches of Mai and Andy, somewhat stale warm-ups for an art trade I still owe a friend. Crap, I'm sorry! I just need some time to sit down and ink it!

And, lastly, some more doodles of Vess, Nell, and Manslapper, stars of the tentative visual novel the guys and I have been working on, on and off, for the past couple months. God damn it, sons, we need to pull this together!

In the meantime, yes, ladies and gentlefucks, I should be back again soon, and with much greater frequency than the past couple months.

Max out!

RETURN OF THE GREAT WHITE DOPE

Oh, yeah, I have an artblog, don't I?

Been pretty busy between school, private artsy projects, and driving home every goddamn weekend this month, so there ain't that much fun. But, hey, have a cuntload of graphics and sketches while you wait for some more good stuff!
A quick and dirty lil' graphic (pretty sure it didn't actually run) about the class of 2015. Nothin' fancy.
It's Pete, looking pensive and critical! Olivia wanted it in a bit of a broken-up style, which was hard for me to emulate digitally, but the end result still pleased her and the writer, so hooray! Also, finally, a graphic that I didn't have to color!
Mr. Morrison, a professor here at Perdoo, who teaches a class concerning the history of rock and roll. Wonder if he knows much about Wesley Willis?
Graphic for a Mystery Dinner event they hold at the Union. Deceit on the Nile was the theme, and I dunno what the fuck, I just did what I was told. Somehow got nominated for Coverage of the Week, a bit of a spotlight thing for staff members, and something I've actually managed to claim before. People LIKE this stuff, go figure!
Old man, losin' some generic check. Forgot what the article was for, but you can still laugh at his financial misfortune.
 HUZZAH!
Shermie somehow came up in the subject of my doodles recently. Despite being sexier'n balls I appreciate her more for being one of the select few female grapplers in all of fighting game-dom.

Okay, maybe I appreciate her just as much for having the biggest tits in KOF.
Big ol' Incan-inspired head for a pal's DnD campaign. Completely bullshitted because I didn't pay attention in history class, like, ever.
A new breed of Space Elf, from the demented minds of Cory and Jenny. The latter has her own artblog now, so spread the love, motherfucks.
And lastly, a contraption of some sort for a comrade who really gets his rocks off to locomotives. While I consider myself terrible at machinery, this came out just lovably derpy enough to share.

That's all for tonight, bitches and gentlemen! I'll be back soon with more crap.

THE STRONGEST WOMAN IN THE WORLD

Yo, it's time for some more Street Fighter shit, sons!

Not much to say, it's just Chun. She was the victim of my newest brush, which is already fraying. Mother fuck.

I'd ramble on some more, but it's late. Enjoy, bitches and gentlemen!

THE VALIANT RETURN OF SIR WINSOR AND/OR NEWTON

Here's a quickie between volleys of coding and calculus! I had an opportunity to finally give my W&N Black Indian a go, and it was delicious. Too bad my brush died about a third of the way through this, thus the broken-ass lines and inconsistency. Still. INK!!

WE ALWAYS BREAK THEM ANYWAY

So I made a New Year's resolution that I'd get back into comic-ing shape in 2011. Here's how a typical session goes!
If the first two panels confuse you, I just got my shipment of about a quarter of a pound of Winsor & Newton india yesterday, and, having last used such good stuff some several months ago, I am SUPER pumped to have it again.

How many months will I try to keep this up? God only knows!
