So I made a New Year's resolution that I'd get back into comic-ing shape in 2011. Here's how a typical session goes!

If the first two panels confuse you, I just got my shipment of about a quarter of a pound of Winsor & Newton india yesterday, and, having last used such good stuff some several months ago, I am SUPER pumped to have it again.

How many months will I try to keep this up? God only knows!

These little numbers were for an article concerning how students are circumventing the massive headache that is the university bookstores to sell/buy/acquire textbooks. Also done digitally, because they were to be printed small enough to cover up my mistakes and I needed the practice!

It's Meg, from Fire Emblem! Being both a General and the daughter of Brom, she was destined to be my MVP with the otherwise terrible Dawn Brigade. Being the smallest (but definitely not skinniest) character in the game and also playing the tank role makes her oddly adorable to me.

Bit of a mess, but it's something. One of two sketches I hammered out idly while at Purdue Fighting Game Club, it's Blue Mary, in a pose I completely bullshitted! Terry is unfazed, and probably thinking about a sandwich.

My Saikyo Spirit has rekindled! Expect this one to be inked once my shipment of W&N drawing ink comes in. OYAJI!!

EXPONENT: FIRST BLOOD 2011

Well, ladies and gents, the fun never stops at the House of Max. Some heavy snowfall kept me from driving back down to West Lafayette yesterday like I planned, meaning I had to do my first graphic digitally, from start to finish. Felt a little filthy, to be honest, but whatever it takes to do my job, I'll do it!
